(D): All bills presented for payment after date of hand-over will be
met by civil administration irrespective of period which

funds, c.g. proceeds of sale of relicf goods paid for by U.K. and recoveries of cash advances made by military administration will be credited to U.K. funds,

Question of contribution by civil governments to cost of military administration will be matter for subsequent settlement between Colonial Office and Treasury in accordance with para. 2(iv) of Appendix to dual
responsibility memorandum enclosed in War Office letter to SACS numbored 16/broad/1693 (0.4) of 23 Feb 1945.
